Hong Chai Claim

Dr. Chai obtained his medical degree from the Zhejiang Medical University in Hangzhou, China. He later earned a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Hong Kong. He completed a residency in Psychiatry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He served as a Chief Resident during both his residency and fellowship. He is board certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Chai treats children, adolescents, and adults in his outpatient practice. In addition, he is the Service Director for Adolescent Programs at SUN Behavioral Houston and is a psychiatric consultant to several hospitals and residential treatment facilities in the area.
